Having long been obsolesced by more convenient and present digital watches and cell phones, the manual movement wristwatch is quickly becoming an unfamiliar item. At the same time I have noticed my ability to tell time based on intuition dwindling far from where it once stood proud. As a child i could tell you the time within 10 minutes based on the suns position and a general feeling I had. Orbit is an attempt to reconnect with the physicality of time, and serve as a reminder that time is not an entirely abstract notion.
